Duties:

• Measure and interpret dimensional measurements accurately to ensure proper fit of windows and doors according to blueprint specifications and construction plans.
• Install a variety of window and door types using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed, ensuring secure and precise placement.
• Prepare surfaces by performing drywall, framing, or masonry work when necessary for seamless integration of new fixtures.
• Apply caulking, weatherstripping, and sealing techniques to ensure energy efficiency and weather resistance of installed units.
• Operate ladders safely for elevated installations while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities effectively.
• Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to meet building codes and client expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly handling tools and disposing of debris in accordance with safety standards.

Experience:

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on window and door installation or related carpentry roles.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely on construction sites.
• Knowledge of building materials and installation, including trim carpentry, drywall finishing, caulking, etc.
• Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
